Ramakant Prasad holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics from Science College, Patna (2002), an M.Sc. in Mathematics from IIT Delhi (2005), an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Data Processing from IIT Kharagpur (2008), and an M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University (2016). He is currently an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) at Gargi College, University of Delhi, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in climate modeling at NIT Delhi. His research focuses on mathematical modeling of ocean wind-wave climate in the Indian Ocean, utilizing machine learning for short-term wave height and wind speed predictions, reflecting his interdisciplinary expertise.
